Trial Instructional Flight
$495 / 1hr
What do I get?
A Trial Instructional Flight is one of the best ways you can experience the excitement and enjoyment of flying, whether it's your first time or an introduction to a possible flying career. The flight is usually conducted in a Cessna 172 aircraft with a duration of 1 hour. The participant will occupy the left hand seat and be given the opportunity to actually fly the aircraft under the direction and supervision of one of our experienced, friendly instructors.
As part of the Trial Instructional Flight experience we also spend approximately 15 minutes on a ground briefing explaining the basic flight controls of the Cessna 172 and explain what you can expect during your flight.
It's an experience you'll never forget and if you decide to go on and begin your Recreational, Private or Commercial Pilot Licence training the 1 hours trial flight can count towards it.
Where do I fly?
The normal route is from the Gold Coast airport "training area", along the coast towards Byron Bay, then back inland via Mullumbimby and Hastings Point. Whilst out in the training area the student will experience the basic skills required to fly a plane.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend comfortable clothes with sun protection and sunscreen. A hat and sunglasses are great on a sunny day. Also, due to safety requirements, enclosed shoes must be worn.
